This kinda went off the rails. But giant insects and arachnid enemies are so common, that the only games I could think of still often had catching, like, giant beetles to sell.

I think I mentioned this, but for some reason, giant enemy spiders, like the Minecraft spiders or Skulltula from Zelda actually bother me less than the regular sized tarantulas and scorpions in Animal Crossing. I guess it's because the Animal Crossing critters behave more realistically.

Still, spider crabs are definitely not insects.
